About me

At times in our lives, we can need someone to talk to, someone to listen to us in a non-judgemental and empathic way. I can provide this in a confidential and safe environment.

I am an experienced counsellor having worked for a local Mental Health Charity, in the care sector and privately.

I am a registered member of the BACP and practice their code of Ethics & Standards. I have worked for many years in the Care Sector and have experience of working with individuals with complex Mental Health issues.

How I Can Help You

I am experienced in working with a wide variety of issues such as bereavement, anxiety, abuse, relationship difficulties, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, stress, eating disorders, anger management & PTSD.

What To Expect

I work in an Integrative way, drawing upon different theoretical approaches, this enables us to work together in a way that suits you best, taking into consideration your individual requirements & needs.

My aim is to offer a warm, supportive, non-judgemental relationship through which you can develop a deeper insight into yourself & any issues that are causing you concern.

Working together in a proactive way to empower the individual to look at ways of addressing these issues and moving on. This will then enable you to have the opportunity to make changes. I believe in an individual’s strengths to overcome difficulties and to empower them to make changes for the better.

Where I Work

I work privately at The Therapy Rooms in Chippenham which is easily accessed from Chippenham, Calne, Devizes, Malmesbury & surrounding villages.
If there are mobility issues then in some circumstances I will provide Counselling within your own home.
