Counselling & Psychotherapy
Why Choose Counselling?
Everybody feels down from time to time, when it becomes so overwhelming that we cannot deal with it on our own it may help to talk to a counsellor. This will enable you to talk privately and confidentially about your experiences and feelings.
Counselling aims to bring about empowerment so that we can make the right choices for ourselves rather than being influenced by the outside world. It helps us to explore deep seated fears and anxieties, to gain understanding, increase self-esteem and confidence so that we can live life more fully.
We work with adults, young people and children, providing individual, couples counselling, play therapy and parenting courses. Other services include supervision for the counselling and helping professions.
To meet our practitioners and find out more about the services they offer, see our practitioner page.
All practitioners have provided evidence of their professional qualifications, and are fully insured. Practitioners are also committed to continual professional and personal development in-line with their awarding body guidelines to enhance the services they provide. For more information please contact the individual practitioner.
