I work collaboratively with people of all ages and from all walks of life who find themselves struggling or simply feeling stuck. I work both short- and longer-term and offer compassionate, confidential therapeutic support for clients with a broad range of issues – from bereavement and loss to big life changes and relationship issues.
As an integrative therapist my approach is informed by a number of different theoretical modalities, however, I am naturally drawn to working longer term and holistically, helping people understand how the past affects our experience of the present, and untangling old patterns that hold us back. My style is warm, relational, supportive and direct.
Before training as a therapist I worked as a journalist for many years, and also in the art world. I am fully registered with both BACP and UKCP as a Clinical Psychotherapeutic Counsellor: I also have a Post-Qualification Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People (Level 7) and am currently in my second year of training as a Jungian Analytical Psychologist with IGAP.
Amongst the issues I work with are:
• Depression and anxiety
• Self Esteem
• Personal growth
• Relationship difficulties
• Neurodivergence
• Life transitions
• Spirituality
• Loss of meaning
• Creative stagnation
My fees start at £50 a session (£60 for an initial assessment).
