Are you facing challenges in your life that feel overwhelming? Would you like to change how things are, or gain a better understanding of what is going on for you? Perhaps what you are experiencing is due to a relationship, something to do with your job or studies, a bereavement or other loss, or something less definable – perhaps just a sense that something is not right for you. Maybe it is connected to low self esteem, depression, anxiety or neuro-diversity.
Whatever your difficulty is, and no matter how big or small it seems, I am here to help you. As a person-centred counsellor, my approach is based on the understanding that each person has the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change when given the right conditions. Rather than offering advice or direction, I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever’s going on for you at your own pace.
In our sessions, my role is to really listen — to understand your experiences from your point of view — and to offer empathy, acceptance, and authenticity. These three elements are the foundation of person-centred therapy, and they help build a genuine, trusting relationship where you can feel truly heard and valued.
What many clients find effective about this approach is that it gives them the space to connect more deeply with their own feelings, needs, and inner resources. Over time, that self-understanding and acceptance can naturally lead to clearer choices, greater confidence, and a stronger sense of wellbeing.
So rather than me being the expert who fixes things, we work together — and you become more empowered to find your own answers and direction. It’s a very human, respectful, and empowering process that supports lasting change from the inside out.
I understand that finding the right therapist for you is really important for any therapy – and I offer a free 20 minute phone call so we can get to know each other a little bit before we agree to see each other.
The cost of a session is £50 with each session lasting 50 minutes.
