I am a Clinical Psychologist with 22 years of experience in the NHS in secondary care adult mental health services in Wiltshire, alongside 13 years in private practice. I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues, including anxiety/mood/self-esteem problems, relational difficulties and the impact of childhood trauma. I have a particular interest in trauma, shame-base difficulties and perinatal issues. I have professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the regulatory body for Practitioner Psychologists.

I have a First in Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology In addition to using third-wave cognitive behavioural therapy (acceptance and commitment therapy and compassion focused approaches), I have further training in a range of therapeutic approaches including eye movement desensitisation reprocessing (EMDR), emotion regulation and systemic couples therapy (SFT).

As science practitioners, clinical psychologists aim to reduce psychological distress and enhance and promote psychological well-being by person-centred understandings and the systematic application of appropriate evidence-based psychological approaches. I am committed to helping each person that I work with to understand their experiences and make the changes necessary to achieve a positive and fulfilling life.
