I am a level 7 Masters UKCP accredited psychotherapist and I use creative techniques, movement, music, art, clay, voice and breath with reflective verbal work to tap into whatever it is you need to make progress in whatever way you need. Together we work with whatever creative processes attract you in the moment to help you to uncover your own needs and examine how to move forward.
I have experience and have undertaken CPD training in a variety of areas but particularly in trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, feelings of worthlessness, suicidal thoughts, self harm, sexual abuse, issues around boundaries and feeling (un)safe, attachment, relationships, shame, LGBTQI+, trans/gender or sexual issues, any learning difficulty, in particular autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, coordination disorders, developmental disorders, speech and language disorders including DLD, among many others.
I work with adults and young people of all ages and have a really strong humanistic work ethic of acceptance and empowerment of all people, no matter what their race, gender, sex, sexual orientation, age, status, disability, or past history. I believe that all people deserve a space where they are totally accepted and embraced as who they are. I also believe that it is the creative process that helps us to find, create and nurture that space for ourselves, and that finding that space is in itself healing and powerful – and even more so within the healing relationship with a supportive therapist to witness and nourish us along the way.
